Sports at UCES

At the Elementary campus, our sports program focuses on giving our Grade 5 and 6 students an introduction to organized team sports such as volleyball and basketball. We focus on skill development and the opportunity to begin to experience playing as a team. We usually participate in a Chilliwack Elementary Schools league which involves playing about 6 other teams over the course of the season. Each season also ends with a round-robin type “tournament” of games. Our Grade 6 boys also often participate in a floor hockey tournament in Langley with other Christian schools in the Lower Mainland. We also try to provide an intramural sport or two throughout the year.
