This website has been designed to give you a glimpse of Unity Christian School (UCS), situated in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
Unity Christian is a dynamic Christian learning community. Our founders envisioned a school that matched the values of home and church so that the three could work together to build a strong foundation in the lives of children and teens.
UCS is a dynamic place - UCS is full of energetic teachers and support staff who are passionate about Christian teaching and interacting with children and teens in fun, creative and God-honoring ways.
UCS is a Christian school - UCS embodies a belief that all of life is lived in response to God – that His claim on our lives is holistic and that our response to Him involves every aspect of our living, knowing and being. We seek to embody the truth of scripture in all we do – from curriculum to athletics to student discipline. At UCS we believe that knowledge is not ‘neutral’ but that it exists in a framework of values and beliefs and we actively seek to teach all curriculum areas from a distinctly Christian framework of ‘Creation – Fall – Redemption’.
UCS is a place of learning - As a school we seek to educate students in all curriculum areas. We are able to offer a comprehensive program to meet the learning needs of the vast majority of students. UCS students are well equipped to go on to university or to enter the work force as disciples of Christ. We also offer a highly recognized program for students with special needs or disabilities.
UCS is a community - Our school is a more than just an institution. It is a place where people relate to each other and grow to care deeply about one another. It is a place where students are known and get to know others. It is a place where people belong.
