We are excited to share that our Grade 12 students left on Wednesday, March 10 for Belize for our annual Service Trip and arrived safely. During Spring Break, our students have the opportunity to serve alongside YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and partner with Cayo Christian Academy in Belize.
The purpose of this trip is to humbly serve our brothers and sisters in Belize while continuing to strengthen our relationship with the YWAM base in Belmopan. This partnership has been a meaningful part of our program, allowing students to grow in faith, service, and global awareness.
This year, our students will be helping with several practical projects at the YWAM base, including renovating bathrooms, painting, and assisting with a variety of construction and maintenance tasks. These projects support the ongoing work of the ministry and help improve the facilities used to serve the local community.
In addition, our students will spend time at Cayo Christian Academy where they will connect with students, sit in classes, and take part in a chapel service. This provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with local students, build relationships, and encourage one another in faith.
