SPECIAL EDUCATION
UCS has been recognized locally and provincially as offering exceptional support for those students with special needs. A recent Provincial Government evaluation of Unity Christian School highlighted our “sensitivity and acceptance of special needs students.” Our program is inclusive in nature, meaning that our students with special needs are part of their classroom activities as much as possible. When needed, there are spaces for them to have time away from the classroom. Our “Educational Support Services Policy” outlines the specific details of our Special Education Program and outlines details regarding case load limits and admissions.

LEARNING ASSISTANCE
UCS also has a Learning Assistance Program. This program provides support for students who struggle to meet the curricular needs of their grade level. We are also working to find ways to support those students who excel and need enrichment.
